This is the original American trailer for Mad Max. It was dubbed with US accents because they couldn’t understand ours. Hilarious.
This is a restored version of the trailer, but still it has American accents.
I can’t locate the original trailer. I’ll keep looking.

MAD MAX 1979 confirmed & booked 14/16 October 2011
The original Australian cult classic Mad Max (1979) has been scheduled as the 3rd in our retro film classic sessions. Tell all your rev head mates that they can see it on the Giant Screen before the print deteriorates & it dissapears from cinema screens forever. This will sound incredible on our sound system. In glorious 35mm.
Oh & kids, this one is Rated R. So have your I.D. ready. 
Blues Brothers print has arrived.
A cursory look & it seems to be in great condition. Doesn’t look like it’s been bashed around at all. I’ll let the projectionists give it a test run & I’ll report back.
