An information site for The Edge Cinema’s 35 & 70mm Retro Classic sessions. We hope to screen at least one classic film twice a month. On a Friday night & Sunday afternoon. These will screen outside school holiday periods when attendance isn’t as congested. We also hope to screen films for special events such as Halloween. The existing 35mm & 70mm prints in Australia are becoming increasingly scarce with film distributors more concerned with current films than with a back catalogue of archival prints. So the next few years will see a heavy increase into digital prints & the phasing out of actual film stock. So see them while you can on our GIANT SCREEN that seats 370 before they all dissapear from public view.
